Another week and eight more books. This collection includes a book where someone turns into a great white shark, former child stars, and small town secrets.
Congratulations, The Best Is Over by R. Eric Thomas is one of my most anticipated books of the week. I think I’m going to pick up the audiobook version of this one. Thomas’s previous collection of essays, Here For It, was a book that had me laughing out loud from beginning to end. He is definitely one one of the funniest essay writers out there right now especially about the intersection of pop and gay culture (granted, it’s like a cloverleaf interchange on a freeway.)
Have a great reading week! If you’re interested in picking up one of these, support your local bookstore or order on Bookshop.org.
